Norman Mailer. In Provincetown Britt-Marie and I met Norman Mailer. We were chatting sitting on a porch by the sea. We spoke about the war in Iraq, W Bush and Sweden. Mr Mailer had problem with his hearing aids and after pulling four or five of them in and out of his ears, he threw them all away. A mild breeze was all over. We had coffee, Mailer signed some books and and we left. I had met one of my favourite authors. Next morning I took a walk along the beach. This clever dog gazing in the early sun caught my eyes. After sketching I had pancake with maple syrup. It all happened in June 2003 and Norman Mailer is not longer.
